====== PC Engines APU2 Quad Core AMD GX-412TC ====== !!Note: AstLinux 1.2.7 or later is required!! !!Note: PC Engines apu2_160307 BIOS is fully functional, though missing ECC support and performance tweaks!! !!Note: For new installations: the PC Engines APU platform will be soon EOL :-(!! EOLAnnouncement **Board Specifications:** apu2c **AstLinux Board Type:** * "genx86_64-serial" (Serial Console: 19200 baud for AstLinux 1.2.10 and earlier, 115200 baud for AstLinux 1.3.0 and later) **Complete System Recommended Options:** * !!Note ->!! IMPORTANT BOARD INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS * Case: case1d2blku / case1d2redu or equivalent. * AC Power Adapter (12 VDC, 2A, inner diameter 2.5 mm, outer 5.5 mm, center positive, it differs from the Alix) * Storage: mSATA SSD (PC Engines msata16d "Phison" works well) * Included: * 2GB (apu2c2) or 4GB (apu2c4) DRAM * Optional: * Power Button - Logic Supply BTNPWR-1 or equivalent. **Total System Power:** 6 Watts when idle. **Performance:** 66.6 secs. (Single-core test, lower is better) time ( echo "scale=3456; 4*a(1)" | bc -l ) **Configuration:** /mnt/kd/rc.conf.d/user.conf SENSEMODS="k10temp" ALERT_SOUNDS="startup shutdown" # Optional Sounds \\ /mnt/kd/sensors.conf # libsensors configuration file # ----------------------------- # PC Engines APU2 # k10temp CPU sensor chip "k10temp-pci-00c3" label temp1 "CPU Temp" \\ **Serial Console COM Port:** !!Note ->!! Skip this section for AstLinux 1.3.0 and later, which uses a 115200 baud rate. For AstLinux 1.2.10 and earlier, the board type of "genx86_64-serial" defaults to a 19200 baud serial console, unfortunately the PC Engines's BIOS is fixed at 115200 baud, so if you want to view the BIOS console you must change the AstLinux serial console speed to match at 115200 baud. After **persistent storage** has been configured, from the CLI issue the following command: setconsole-speed-tty 115200 ttyS0 !!Tip ->!! A reboot is required for the change to take effect. !!Note:!! Wake-on-LAN (WOL) does __only__ work on eth2 (next to the USB ports)! **Photos:**
